The Whitsunday STEM Challenge (WSC) is a not-for-profit charity, initiated in 2019, aimed at increasing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) participation by students in the Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac regions.
By developing our students’ skills through STEM, we’re providing them with the foundation to succeed at school and beyond.
WSC provides opportunities for students to extend their learning through competitions including Pedal Prix, F1 in Schools, Robotics and Drones. There are also opportunities for students to attend immersive sessions on real-life applications of STEM. For more information visit the WSC site.
